For reliability, short-lived rate-limit counters are kept (an IP address and a timestamp) and are purged automatically once the window expires. ## What we do with submitted URLs and files When you submit a URL, it is forwarded to a media-extraction backend to fetch the requested file. The URL and the fetched file are discarded shortly after the download is delivered to you. We do not keep copies, we do not share them, and we do not use them for training or analytics. ## Third parties The backend relies on the open-source project `yt-dlp` for extraction.
